Bring a Wonderful Coach Back

Coach Shaun Middleton has made a world of difference in the Smyrna High School Basketball program. He has influenced many girls lives and their parents lives at the same time.
Last year Coach Middleton made a bad judgement call in a game. At that time he was punished in the proper way being suspended from the program for a year. It has been the decision of the high school administrative staff to possibly not bring Coach Middleton back next year after his suspension.
The kids that he has coached have much respect for Coach Middleton. Myself as a parent have entrusted Coach Middleton with my child as a coach and mentor. I think in would be a great mistake on behalf of Rutherford County and Smyrna High School to subject the basketball program of the accomplishments that Coach Middleton has brought to the district. I know for a fact their are many girls that don't even want to play basketball out of respect for Coach Middleton not being there.
As Coach Middleton once told me he has many different jobs when it comes to his girls.
He supports and encourages the girls to continue on with their careers no matter what happens and he will be their for them no matter what.
