Stop Calf Abuse at Adirondack Farms!
A recent undercover investigation of the Adirondack Dairy Farm -- a supplier of Cabot and McAdam cheeses -- revealed shocking abuses of calves and cows. Workers were caught on video jabbing and hitting cows on the head and udder when leading them into the milking room, and a manager shocked a cow in the face and dragged another cow 25 feet with a vehicle.
To prevent them from drinking milk, workers take calves from their mothers hours after birth. Calves' horn buds are burned off without anesthesia, causing great pain. More mature animals have their longer horns chopped off, also without anesthesia.
Many vegetarians feel that eating dairy products doesn't harm animals, but the recently released undercover videos of this investigation prove otherwise. Please sign the petition to convince Agri-Mark's CEO to stop animal cruelty at Adirondack and all other member farms.
