The North Korean people are the most oppressed people in the world. They are denied every kind of human right. They are severely malnourished; some are even so hungry that they have resorted to cannibalism. They lack even the most basic of medical supplies. They are deprived of numerous political, economic, and religious freedoms. Furthermore, the government arbitrarily detains, tortures, and executes its citizens, including children, in a large network of concentration camps. Needless to say, the North Korean people are in desperate need of change. You can help bring about that change. You can learn more about the situation in North Korea and inform others. You can call, fax, e-mail, or send letters to government officials, asking them to help the North Korean people. You can financially support organizations that are assisting North Koreans - such as Open Doors USA, the Korean Church Coalition for North Korea Freedom, and the North Korea Freedom Coalition. If you are a religious person, you can pray for the North Korean people. Please pledge to do what you can to help the North Korean people today.
