In most of our homes dogs live the good life. They are pet, fed, played with, loved, and look for us when we're away. But the life of a dog in a puppy mill is far more cruel than the life we give them in our homes. "They are treated as livestock and are bred every six months until they are no longer productive." Imagine being in a wrie cage so small for your whole life all you could do was sit or have sores on your feet from standing on the wire. If you ever were to get out, you wouldn't go vary far because you never learned how to walk. "They receive no medical care, even when they have painful and debilitating injuries. It is not uncommon to see dogs that are missing legs from getting them caught in cage wires. It is the most pathetic life you can imagine." Many of the dogs are sold directly into our homes. Or sold to brokers who transport them carelessly and sell them to pet stores nationwide.
As you have just read it is inhumane to treat animals this way. Nothing should have to go through such a life of misery and torture. So do it for you and the poor dogs who endure this awful lifestyle day by day. There is a puppy out there this very second waiting for you to take action!
