Speeding Cars in the Village of Southport

I own a business, Kasson Jewelers in Southport, on a daily basis myself, my employees and numerous other individuals, often observe vehicles traveling at a high rate of speed through the village, theyare at risk of being hit or run over and possibly death. We the undersigned want something done, i suggest a speed bump, perhaps on the northbound side only, just south of the post office, ( I have been told the southbound side would not work, due to the close proximity of the Southport fire house) Police radar doesn't seem to work except when the police are there. and I don't believe anyone has ever gotten a speeding ticket, i have clocked speeds in excess of 50 MPH. Please do something. thank you.
