Since the debate with the Confederate flag, there is now a debate with the Swastika. As Long as America continues to embrace these kinds of hate symbols, the hate will only continue. As American citizens, we have the right to put and end to disrespectful, racist, and bigoted material, organizations, symbols, and flags. We want change, and we want it now peacefully. The K.K.K. are home bred terrorists in every meaning of it's definition.
Domestic terrorism" means activities with the following three characteristics:
Involve acts dangerous to human life that violate federal or state law;
Appear intended (i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or (iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination. or kidnapping; and
Occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the U.S.
The massacre in South Carolina was a domestic terrorist act. Supported by the people who bear symbols of groups, or organizations who have and believe in the ideas of segregation, non integration, and living in a one race society.
I heard America is tired of these kinds of groups and organizations. I hear America wants a melting pot. They want not to have to live in fear of their neighbor who chooses to burn crosses, murder people in prayer meetings just because of their race difference. I hear they are tired of living in fear of their Doctors, Lawyers, and Judges, and Police staff who have the right to discriminate, and practice hate marches, and rituals under white sheets, because America has laws to protect their freedoms, but does not choose to put and end to the fear it brings.
I pray for a better America Morning, Noon, and Night. I heard a President mention change. We can make this happen. Let's stop the use of hate filled symbols. This will bring us steps further to the melting pot America had promised to be.
