Stop the Over-Development of the Biscuit Factory!

South Bermondsey has been taken aback!
After years of planning and designing the redevelopment of the Biscuit Factory site Grosvenor has gone against current planning restrictions and the existing character of the neigbourhood by forcing 28 story tall skyscrapers on the local community.
The public consultation has been deliberately misleading with the height of the buildings being witheld until the very end of the process.
The community in general and those on the south side of the London Bridge rail lines especially have effectively been disregarded with the towering blocks forming a mile long wall along the rail.
The project as it stands will drown local transportation links and cause them to fail.
We propose a severe limitation of the height of the project to be in keeping with the surrounding neighbourhood and an increase in the percentage of affordable rent properties with their pricing structure matching those of the council.
