Petition to recognize turf as suitable ground coverfor front yard and parking strips

The city of Salt Lake deems artificial turf as not suitable for ground cover for front yards. We believe that is not only suitable but also environmentally favorable. It helps reduce emissions from not having to mow. It saves thousands of gallons of water if not tens if thousands. It looks pleasant year round. We would like the city to recognize artificial turf as a suitable ground cover for front yards and parking strips.
