Traffic concern in Glen Laurel

I am writing today to express concern about a safety issue in our neighborhood. The intersection of Neuse Ridge Dr. and Kensington Dr. is the point of our concern. When you drive along Neuse Ridge from the main entrance of the neighborhood, there are MANY stop signs:

At the intersection with:
Birkdale: 3-way stop sign
Lafoy: 3-way stop sign
Cherry Laurel: 3-way stop sign
Parkridge: 4-way stop sign
Townsend: 3-way stop sign
Kensington: ONE stop sign for what is the BUSIEST intersection of all of these!

The need for stop signs at this location is urgent as we have many children who walk to nearby Powhatan Elementary.
