Clarification: This petition pertains to all the big companies who sell Hydro but I am concentrating on one company initially.
Have your wages gone up 65% in the past 8 years? The price of electricity in Ontario has. Incredibly, despite these massive historical increases, power rates are projected to rise by and additional 40 per cent over the next four years. This means we will be paying more than twice what is paid in neighboring provinces. One of the reasons we pay so much is to fund the bloated salaries of the people in charge of hydro in Ontario.
We are not okay with paying hydro bills that are not in line with real costs of Hydro. How about subsidizing our bills with the huge obscene salaries (including benefits) to executives. We are not talking about the
- CEO CARMINE MARCELLO although his income at 728,571 is excessive.

- JUDY MCKELLAR 306,634 Vice President, People And Culture
- ROBERT CULTRARO 382,610 Senior Vice President, Pensions.
Over 70% of Hydro One employees make over 100K a year.
Please sign this petition. With enough clout and signatures real change can happen. Petitions have been started before concerning Hydro rates....but I refuse to give this campaign up until we get results. This petition will be forwarded to Hydro One as well as all media outlets I am able to contact.
