60% retirement after 30 years service

We the dues paying members of NYSCOPBA demand that NYSCOPBA Union Representatives begin the process to grant all NYSCOPBA members the right to obtain 60% of their pension after 30 years service refused less of age. All other New York State Unions currently have this option, with the exception of NYSCOPBA.We are being discriminated based on age when you offer 60% of earned pension to a member who has reached age 62 with 30 years service. But not a member who has reached 30 years service, but has not yet reached age 62. That member who has not reached 62 years of age is only eligible for 50% of his or her pension. This is nothing short of discrimination based on age, And we demand our members be treated equally and without prejudice.
