Our beloved east fork is under attack from commercialization and it needs to be stopped immediately. The cattle canyon project will destroy natural beauty of the fork.These plans will demolish the upper parking lot and will destroy any chance of disabled veterans or families with small children to access the river. The commercialization of this area is not wanted and by signing this petition we are trying to bring a change. Changes that will be made will include the closing of the upper parking lot at the trail head,a "scenic walk" that will destroy natural beauty and cater to the funding of the Sierra club. Back country hiking,camping and hunting will need a permit and day use only will be implemented into the cattle canyon project.
