Freedom and Justice for Igor

Earlier this month, December 2017, world-class Macedonian opera singer Igor Durlovski was arrested. The arrest was politically motivated because he spoke against current regime.

Igor Durlovski is accused of being one of the organizers and the perpetrators of 27 April's events (where protestors stormed Parliament in Macedonia), because he joined the crowd that was already inside the Macedonian Parliament two hours earlier, and he was singing the Macedonian anthem and folk songs inside. The type, length and conditions of his detention are clearly out of proportion to the offence he suspected of.

We kindly ask you, whether you are an individual or an organization, to give support to our campaign for Igor's release, by taking a photo of you with a written quote "Justice for Igor". This will help us make the authorities in Macedonia aware that artists should not be imprisoned and labeled as terrorists for their free speech against the Macedonian regime.
