Property located here in our sweet neighborhood is up for sale and a prospective buyer is looking to utilize this land as a large mine pit. Old zoning laws and regulations do not protect our property boundaries surrounding this land. Our back yard is filled with gorgeous trees, abundant wildlife, spring fed ponds that feed Barnett’s Creek to the Ochlocknee River , and general peace and quite that will change if this purchase/zoning is approved. Large trucks, extreme noise, dust/elements in the air, congested roads, damaged roads, polluted rivers/ponds, extinct wildlife in our area, and decreased property values will all be the end result.
