Travel Health Care

We, the undersigned, Citizens of Canada, call upon the House of Commons in Parliament assembled to Travel Health Care Coverage. If you experience a health issue while you are travelling, even if you have never had the medical condition before, you are not covered for a re-occurrence of that issue as you make your way home after treatment. We petitioners are requesting the government enact into law a bill that requires all out of country Travel Health Care providers to provide health coverage for their insured clients for a reasonable time frame as they make their way back to Canada, either by land, air or sea, after suffering a medical condition that was not pre-existing.
