Remember the movie Edward Scissorhands? How all the houses in the neighborhood were identical, you couldn't tell one from the other. Is that what you want to become of Los Angeles?
We need to stop developing corporate apartment buildings, condo's etc. and protect & preserve the structure's were the first of their kind in Los Angeles. The developers cut down hundred year old trees, decreasing habitat for wildlife, decreasing water sources and increasing crime, population & traffic.
Private developers pay the city to build in zones that are not zoned for these types of massive structures. Most of the time they wind up vacant & sold, resulting in the permanent loss of a beautiful structure that was torn down to put up a barbie & ken building.
Please voice your support and help preserve Los Angeles. I want my nephews and kids to be able to learn feel and touch Los Angeles's natural wildlife, the town's history & amazing houses and buildings that were established here.
