Demand That CAHS Keeps Latin

At Columbus Alternative High School (CAHS) the principal Darryl C. Sanders has decided to cut the Latin program from the World Language Department claiming it is no longer "fiscally responsible", leaving many students confused and devestated.
The Latin program has been very beneficial for the alumni of CAHS that were a part of the program, and by cutting the program Sanders is ripping those benefits from the current students in the program such as college credit and a guaranteed scholarship.
This is the CAHS Latin students telling you that we must demand that CAHS keeps the Latin program.

Columbus City Schools now has a section on its website allowing you to vote for a class to keep/spare. It is under "TALK TO US: Join Columbus City Schools ' Conversation on Our District Budget". Please go and vote that they spare the Latin Program (Language/Academics). Thank you!
