Demand Repaving Of Road On Hueytown Elementary School Property...REAR Pickup/ Dropoff Car Line

If you are a parent, teacher or staff member at Hueytown Elementary School & are upset with the condition of the road behind the elementary school, which is used twice daily to pickup and dropoff your children, sign this petition NOW! I can't accept that there isn't funding for this or it doesn't sit high on the priority list for Jefferson County Board Of Education! Our children, parents & staff members deserve to have a smooth drive leading to their school, with adequate parking! For the past several years it has been & remains filled with numerous potholes, gravel & unevenness!! In my opinion it could possibly be a HUGE liability issue for the teacher that stands out there on a day to day basis. For instance, the road is not very wide & the vehicles are trying to dodge the potholes & then possibly hit a teacher that is only doing her duty/ job of working the carpool line! Another possibility...someone trips and falls in one of those potholes and breaks a foot or worse, not to mention the wear & tear on your vehicle!!! There needs to be a change because this is UNACCEPTABLE!! Sign NOW if you agree!!
