Time to create a real democracy without the influence of corrupting money.

Time to stop pretending that we have a democracy. This is really a joke, where the person with the most votes comes in second, millionaires and billionaires control the government with campaign contributions. Lawmakers spend a considerable amount of time begging for money from contributors that will give money with an expected return, like a tax cut. Where a person running for office is in charged of the election. We treat portions of the constitution that are archaic and not appropriate for the 21st century or a modern civilized country, like the second amendment, as sacrosanct. Where health care is treated as a privilege, not a right, as it should be. Is time to join the ranks of civilized nations and show that we care about our citizens.
