Save Hillingdon Manor CC's future

Hillingdon Manor CC is a small but diverse Cricket Club and has history of nearly 185 years. In past, Club has produced international players like Alex Hales who started his career as a Teenager at the Club.

In recent years, Mr Simon Webb was selected as a Chairman ofthe Club as well as player. He always played in 1s XI however, recently he stepped down from 1st DO and became captain for 2nd XI.

Since becoming captain, he has been criticised by his team members and his leadership skills were always challenged. His view of promoting youth has got the relegated from Div 6 to Div 7 last year. At the last AGM, he was elected again for captain of 2nd XI. He always voted in the election despite being a Chairman.

Now, majority of players have spoken to and about his leadership to the committee members and have asked for him to step down from the captaincy of the 2nd XI.

This is in the best intetest of the Club that Mr Webb reigns from the post as this has caused a lot if controversy between the players and passion of playing cricket for the club, this will mean club will loose players in near future which could mean club not having enough players to be entered into competition and alternatively being shut down after near 185 years.

Mr Webb's position is damaging the image of the Club. He should resign from the post in the best interest of the Club.
