Listen to the People - MAHC reject TASK FORCE recommendation Oct. 10 2019

Muskoka Algonquin Health Care Capital Plan Development Task Force recommendation to build 2 brand new hospitals (Bracebridge and Huntsville) will result in significantly increased tax levies to the residents of the District of Muskoka.The reported local share of this recommendation is not attainable for the taxpayers of the District of Muskoka or the lower tier Municipalities in the foreseeable future.
As concerned citizens, we urge our leaders to act now to reject the recommendation of the TASK FORCE. The residents of Muskoka need a viable option that continues to support quality hospital services but is more affordable to local tax payers than what is currently being considered.
