Speeding is Reckless and Negligent!!!

Residential areas are not patrolled enough, so it is up to those whom live in these areas to alert safety and law personnel of any dangers. I live on Old County Rd. in West Enfield, ME. This street is clearly posted at 30 mph. Speeding happens here QUITE FREQUENTLY. Almost the entire length of the road there is no shoulder, nor sidewalk. There are plenty of families and children who live on this road, as it extends on both sides, a north and a south side. The front of MY home is 12-15 ft from the road. Every day, I worry that someone's vehicle might end up in my living room. What needs to happen for those that commit the crime of criminal speeding to be stopped? CRIMINAL SPEEDING, 30 MPH OR MORE OVER POSTED SPEED LIMIT! HAPPENS EVERY DAY! I WANT TO FEEL SAFE WHERE I LIVE AND WHERE I RAISE MY CHILDREN! WE NEED ACTION NOW! WE NEED SPEED HUMPS!
