We are demanding Nokia return the pension money of the American designers, manufacturers and installers of our telecommunications infrastructure. They retired, trusting in a healthy pension plan and the promise of healthcare, life insurance and death benefits. Nokia would rather take the money to boost their stock a couple of dollars over honoring that promise to our retired, American workers.
Suri Rajeev:
You brought your company to the United States of America with the promise to honor all agreements already in place as bargained by Alcatel-Lucent, USA with our IBEW and CWA Unions. We the undersigned demand you return the $3 Billion needed to ensure the bargained healthcare and future care of our retirees.
