Give Stan Lee An Honorary Academy Award

One of the greatest creative minds in the comics world passed away recently. Stanley Martin Lieber, aka Stan Lee, was editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics, as well as its publisher and chairman. He co-created some of Marvel's most popular characters, including Spider-Man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, The Fantastic Four and Daredevil.

He was famous for his cameos, starting in 1989's TV movie, 'The Trial of the Incredible Hulk' and carrying on through to 2018's 'Venom'. he has been credited as Executive Producer on most Marvel film and television projects, including the MCU.

I call upon the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to honour Stan at the 2019 Academy Awards with a posthumous Honorary Award for his achievements in bringing to the big and small screen the characters he helped create, and for his many appearances in said productions.

As Stan himself puts it in the Marvel Lego Super Heroes game: "Where's my award for Best Cameo?"
