Removal from Sex Offender Registry for a minor charge.

I was 19 yrs old I moved to Atlanta GA. and made the worst mistake of my life. I met a female and we started dating. She lied to me and told me she was 16 yrs old I found out later by her Mother she was 15yrs old. It was all consensual. There was nothing done by force. In Georgia after being convicted of 2nd degree rape because of our ages, I was placed on 2yrs unsupervised probation. The last year of my probation, I moved back home to Alabama, and had my probation transferred. Upon moving back to Alabama occording to AIabama law because I was still on probation I had to register as a sex offender. This was the only charge I ever had in my whole life. It was an innocent mistake. Since, then I havent been arrested for any crime. This registry has destroyed my life and character. Society label me a this harsh person that I'm not. Simply because my name and picture is listed on the public sex offender website. I can't get a job. I am now 34 yrs old and is still being hunted by a simply mistake I made at 19 yrs old. I just want this behind me so that I may live life without this hanging over my head every where I go.
