LIMIT Amount Corporations can raise rent on Seniors!

Seniors on fixed incomes, who have given up their homes to live in friendly, community housing, should NOT be gouged with rent increases by corporations seeking ONLY large profits. No corporation should lure seniors into housing by telling them there will not be rent increases each year (at the end of their lease agreements) and when there IS an increase, it will only be equivalent to the cost of living adjustment and THEN raise rents two and three times that amount when the seniors and the handicapped can not afford the increase, have nowhere else to go and can not afford to move again! People who received NO increase in Social Security for three years and then got a $16 to $19 monthly increase are suddenly asked to pay $50 to $85 increases in their rent!
