Introduce Law to Permanently Ban steel Jaw leghold traps in the United States now!

Leghold traps are cruel and inhumane threatening the lives of thousands of helpless animals every year. Birds, cats, dogs, and even various endangered species to name a few have been caught in them some which even chewed off their own limbs in hopes of trying to break free. The animals that managed to survive, however suffered from broken tendons and ligaments, couldn't walk properly again and their survival in the wild was no longer possible. Leghold traps have been outlawed in the United Kingdom since 1958; since then, over 100 other countries followed this example. Now, it’s time for the United States to do the same.
