Tell the USDA Stop Protecting Puppy Mill Operators!

In a recent report on puppy mills, issued by the HSUS, I was surprised to learn that the USDA, which no longer inspects these pits of horror and abuse, will not reveal the owners of puppy mills. In effect, the USDA, a government agency operating on taxpayer funds is protecting the puppy mills, and their owners. Protecting people who may well be criminals. There are alternatives sources for this information; mill puppies carry registration, either from the AKC or the UKC; these mills apply for thousands of puppy registrations every year. Pressure these groups to list mill owners. Stop the mills, and the corruption in the USDA.
