We Want Sports East

Sports East will be a fun place for the whole family to enjoy and exercise while being together.

It can also be used to hopefully keep kids off drugs and out of gangs if they have something fun and positive to do.

To whom it may concern,


The people of the Town of Southold have started this petition in favor of building Sports East. The goal of this petition was to get at least 300 signatures. We got more than double that at 629 supporters from September 26 to October 5.


Some of the reasons people want this is; this facility will add jobs to our community, the health benefits to all members, a safe place for kids to go, a local place for families to spend time together.


Please consider doing everything in your power to make this come together for the benefit of the Town of Southold.
