Michael Gregory is a smart individual yes, but even with going to him for help, studying his online lectures, or even the textbook it is extremely difficult to just past his class. I take hours a day to study and I can only maintain an average grade. My class, BIO 101 Section 02 C for the spring 2015 semester has a class average of 48.7%. On every test he gives a range from 10-20 point curves. Although, our previous test had a 30 point curve. He is constantly unprepared for class and nearly half of his lectures contain information we don't need to know for the class or the final. He says that he's willing to help anyone study or answer questions but many people say that he doesn't give help and tells his students to reread a chapter or look on the online lectures. Also, the online lectures are what he says to be "the best study guide" for passing his tests even though it leaves out too much information that's crucial for passing. He doesn't teach his class like a general biology 101 class he teaches it as though students should already understand the basic concepts.
