A harrowing
video of a dog being
brutally beaten has gone viral in the Philippines.
The poor dog, named Axle, was an adorable American Bully living in a remote part of the country.
The video shows Axle being mercilessly beaten by a man with a wooden plank. Axle could not recover from the abuse, and
tragically died not long after the video was taken.

Axle whimpering, trying desperately to escape. But the man chased the dog relentlessly, insisting on making Axle suffer.

There have also been consistent calls within the country for better enforcement of the Animal Welfare Act and stronger animal rights policy, too!It's time we get justice for Axle and
urge the Congress of the Philippines to take this abuse seriously. It is their job to strengthen and enforce existing laws, like the Animal Welfare Act, so that future dogs from this kind of abuse!
