Save our Trees!

The UK Government needs to ban the ritual chopping down and therefore eventual death of spruce, fir and pine trees in December. Many thousands of these trees which would have taken in our carbon dioxide and given out oxygen (one large tree can provide enough oxygen for 4 people), or provided a habitat for wildlife are destined to end up stuck in somebody's front room just because it's Christmas.
