There has recently been a confederate monument built right by my home on MLK drive. They have also added rebel flags to it. What the rebels fought for was the means to keep slavery. When the north was trying to abolish it. This is not right in any matter but to have it built on MLK dr is a slap on the face to any African American or AnericN who believes in equal rights.
