PLEASE STOP CONTRACTED KILL OF FERAL COLONIES
Please consider Trap-Neuter-Return of Feral Colonies. Have mercy and stop contracted trapping and killing of these cats. Please repeal $500.00 fine if any cats are fed. Multiple resources are willing to assist with humane resolution for these colonies. The City has contracted with high kill shelter and will start trapping in a week! Please Have Mercy

The meeting with council was a sham, they had not read our information and had "people from certain areas" saying PACTS OF FERAL CATS had attacked a dog and another cat had scratched a child. It was just a prelude to the end of the colonies we were trying to protect. I would like to tell everyone that stood with us that we are so grateful for your supp ort and am proud of the community of compassion each of you gave. THANK YOU ALL-Pam

Next meeting is 4/25/2016 @ 5PM, Council asked for information about feral colonies and hopfully will work with us. Alley Cat Allies has provide handouts for us to give at the next meeting. I am hopeful we have a chance to educate and save these cats. Thank you all for signing and caring. Pam

Vestavia Hills City Council meeting is Mondayat 5PM. A local paper did an article and compared feral cats to snakes and predators of the wild. And stated feral cats were a danger to...pregnant women, children and the elderly. If they had checked their facts they could have learned that pregnant women were at risk if they were in contact with fecal material Feral Cats run and hide if approached. They are trying to create a hostile public scare . THAT SCARES AND SICKENS ME!
