Congress and the president have put every horse in danger. We elected them to oversee our best interests, and that includes the welfare of the American horse which made our country what it is today. Horses are Icons of the America historical heritage of which the United States was built upon. It is upon the backs of these great and noble steeds that our forefathers staked claim to the lands that became our earliest communities. The loyal companion that carried Paul Revere, pulled wagons and plows and enabled man to forge west. The American horse is our heritage and loyal companions in daily lives. The majestic creatures where not raised to become food for humans. This is wrong and needs to be stopped but we need to stand up for them because they are unable to do it themselves. They deserve freedom and not live a day to day life in pain and suffering. These horses deserve better.
