Save Malcolm X boyhood home

Civil Rights advocate Malcolm X forever changed the way Americans talk about race and inequality. But the 1847 home in which he spent the first part of his life has been allowed to deteriorate. A building that should be an important landmark--for both historic and architectural reasons--is badly decayed from rot and leaks. The National Historic Trust has placed the Malcolm X boyhood home on its list of endangered treasures and hopes to raise $750,000 for its restoration and repair. Tell Boston City Council to help fund this important project, so integral to American history!
