Sharks are crucial to a healthy ocean. As apex predators they keep the ocean ecosystem balanced. Most shark species are threatened. If we allow countries to keep finning sharks we not only are allowing sharks to become extinct we are turning a blind eye to a barbaric practice which brings shame to the human species.
