South Carolina wants to send people to jail for implementing the Affordable Care Act.
Five Republican state representatives put forth a bill called the South Carolina Freedom of Health Care Protection Act that declares Obamacare as unconstitutional, invalid, rejected, null and void, not recognized, and of no effect.
The bill would lead to federal contractors, employees, and officials that implement Obamacare spending up to 5 years in jail, with state contractors, employees, and officials that implement Obamacare spending up to 2 years in jail.
Please tell South Carolina to not criminalize Obamacare!
Dear South Carolina Government,
Five state representatives recently introduced the South Carolina Freedom of Health Care Protection Act, which would criminalize Obamacare and those implementing it. For federal officials, it could lead to up to 5 years in jail, and for state officials, it could lead up to 2 years in jail.
Please do not criminalize Obamacare and send people to jail for implementing the Affordable Care Act.
