Its time for a General Election
We all know that this is a time of austerity. This was caused by the greed and mismanagement of our financial systems by the banks and the lack of regulation by government.
However, we now have a government which is shifting the burden of these austerity measures from the very corporations which caused the problem to families (reduced or loss child benefit for many), children (increased university tuition fees) and the elderly (a real time loss of income from the freeze of their tax free allowances).
The reality is that if you earn over £150k a year (top 1% of earners) you will receive 5% more in your pay packets and are therefore contributing less to tackling this countries financial problems.
The governments reduction in corporation tax means that big profitable corporations will also contribute less to tackling our problems.
The treasury predicts that the reduction of high earners top rate tax and corporation tax will contribute just 0.1% growth to the economy

We the undersigned do not believe in the direction or the path that this coalition government is taking is in the best interests of the people of the United Kingdom. We ask the UK government to call a general election and give the population a chance to speak.
We all know that this is a time of austerity but believe that this government is placing an unfair burden on young people, families and the elderly to shoulder the burden of the current financial crisis.
In contrast large corporations and the top 1% of earners stand to gain financially from this governments policies and are shouldering proportionately less of the burden
