This petition has been established to gauge an overview of how the Electorate in Wrexham County Borough feel about the current Council Member administration following the defection of 10 Labour members joining an Independent Group and the lack of overall leadership in the future of Wrexham.
The Group that has been created does not have any form of electoral manifesto- has never previously issued one for the County Borough as all of the previous Independents were elected on local issues only.
The recent cuts in services across a wide range of provision has been pushed through without any proper discussion or debate with the general public thereby failing grossly in operating in a transparent manner.
The Executive Board have on many occasions even taken their own reports to Executive Meetings that have never been discussed with colleagues through their own Scrutiny process.
With schools that are in Special Measures, service cuts and a general deterioration of the fabric of society within Wrexham changes need to be made potentially through the people of Wrexham forcing the Council to sit up an listen and for the Welsh Government to react to the level of unease by the implementation of Commissioners to take over the Council Management.- It seems to have worked in Anglesey so why not in Wrexham. This would then lead up to the 2017 election when the electorate can vote the way they see fit.
