Mountain lion is sliced up during a cooking class in Rapid City, South Dakota on January 15th, at Game, Fish & Parks Outdoor Campus West.
Three types of mountain lion dishes were prepared for the class, a sweet-and-sour dish, lion wrapped with sesame and bacon, and lion cooked with dried cherries, croutons and cheese.
Jeff Olson, a Rapid City sportsman recently left his eight-year tenure as a South Dakota Game, Fish & Parks commissioner, and teaches a monthly cooking class at the new GF&P center.
Tell South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard to ban the eating of big cats in his state. There is not such a food crises in the United States that we need to start cooking and eating Mountain lions- and to do so undermines wildlife conservation, especially at a time when the Florida Panther is critically endangered.
