Stop Georgia politicians from allowing a future of NO GAYS ALLOWED!

We need everyone's attention to this urgently. In the past week, Republican policitians in Georgia have led a quiet effort to propose a law that will allow Georgia business owners to refuse service to anyone, if they feel it violates their religious freedom. Having signs that say NO GAYS ALLOWED would not only be supported but if it was fought in court, the law would defend these people against any recourse. This is segregation in a new form. Atlanta is a stronghold of support for minorities of many kinds in the Southeast, but there are thousands who live in smaller cities throughout the state that could literaly face bans from many establishments in town. In case you missed it this already happened this week in Arizona: http://www.cnn.com/2014/02/21/us/arizona-anti-gay-bill/. GEORGIA WILL NOT BE THE NEXT ARIZONA - WE NEED EVERYONE'S VOICE REGARDLESS OF YOUR SEXUAL ORIENTATION OR BACKGROUND. THIS IS ABOUT HUMAN RIGHTS FOR EVERYONE.

GOVERNOR DEAL: Georgia will not be the next Arizona. We are a state of increasingly progressive and educated voters. We know that regardless of political games, you will stand up for the dignity and respectability of every citizen in our state and speak out against attacks like this under the veil of protecting religious freedom. WE DEMAND THAT YOU RECOGNIZE THIS AS AN ATTACK ON EVERY PERSON'S HUMAN RIGHTS AND CALL ON THE POLITICIANS IN THIS STATE TO WORK TOWARD THE BETTERMENT OF OUR COMMUNITIES - NOT TEAR THEM APART!
