The Trump Administration just took down all the animal welfare data from the USDA website making it impossible for activists to protect animal rights and enabling businesses such as animal testing facilities, zoos, circuses, and all business using animals to go unchecked in their treatment of these animals. We as taxpayers have the right to that information because we as taxpayers finance the USDA. Put the information about animal welfare back online immediately!

Friday, Feb 3rd, 2017, the Trump Administration erased all animal welfare data from the USDA website, including historical records and current records. This information is legally the right of the public because the taxpayers pay for that information. By blacking out this data, it makes it impossible for animals to be protected, for animal rights advocates to work on their behalf, and makes it invisible when businesses of any kind torture or kill animals in any way they see fit. We demand that the USDA put back ALL of the animal rights and animal welfare information, including the lists of facilities violating these rights.
