The purpose of this petition is to show support for the release of Antoine Williams.
We the family and friends of Antoine Williams respectfully ask the California Parole Board to grant parole to Antoine.
During the time of his incarceration, he has successfully achieved his GED and earned 10 certificates in vocational training, which includes Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. He has also taken the initiative to take and successfully completed numerous self-help programs in order to better himself. For the past nine years, Antoine has been employed as a laundry technician working within the laundry department of the facility. Furthermore, he has an excellent record of good behavior from the year of 1993 to the present time.
He has taken responsibility of his actions and has done everything possible within his power in prison to change his life. He has a loving family, home and a job waiting his release. As a result of this strong support system, he will have help to readjust back into the community.
Upon release, Antoine will be dedicated to obeying the laws and being a productive member of society. He will have plenty of support from family and the community.
He has been incarcerated since the age of 18 for the crime of second-degree murder and has spent 19 years of his life within the Department of Corrections. In conclusion, we hope that you will grant parole to Antoine Williams based upon the evidence of his rehabilitation.
