We, the undersigned, believe that Nike should stop using labor from sweatshops in countries such as Vietnam, Korea, and other countries in Latin America, Africa, and South America to produce their goods such as shoes and apparel. These sweatshops require people to work in inhumane conditions and are a terrible social injustice.
We, the undersigned, believe that Nike should stop using labor from sweatshops in countries such as Vietnam, Korea, and other countries in Latin America, Africa, and South America to produce their goods such as shoes and clothing apparel. These sweatshops require people to work in inhumane conditions and are a terrible social injustice.
This is just one of many sweatshops throughout the world Here is an example of a Nike Sweatshop: We petition that people in these sweatshops be allowed the following liberties: a nine hour work day, a clean working enviroment that is not overcrowded and allows personal space, no abuse by overseeing officials, a minimum wage of $5.00 an hour, breaks at their own disclosure, the right to form unions, and education. Until these conditions are met, we will continue to boycott Nike goods.
