Tell Kroger and Harris Teeter: Eliminate BPA from their stores

Dangerous chemicals, including BPA (bisphenol A), are still found in canned foods that our local grocery stores sell. In fact, public health advocacy groups recently gave Kroger a D- for their inaction on toxics.

Sign our petition below telling Harris Teeter and their parent company, Kroger, to protect our families by eliminating toxics and using only safe substitutes in food can linings.

I am proud of Harris Teeter's long history in North Carolina, but am very disappointed that Kroger and their subsidiary companies received a grade of D- from public health advocates due to inaction on toxics. I'd like to see Kroger and Harris Teeter as leaders on customer safety, instead of falling behind companies like Walmart.

Please respond with a detailed timeline of how your company will eliminate dangerous chemicals from your shelves to put your customer's safety first.
