Women Need Alzheimer's Research!

At age 65, a woman is two times as likely to develop Alzheimer's disease than a man. By age 75, she is three times as likely.

But right now too many people don't know about the disproportionate affect Alzheimer's disease has on women across the world.

Alzheimer's disease devastates its victims and their families, and disrupts their lives in multiple, complicated ways. It is especially cruel that women are more often afflicted by the disease, as they are also more commonly the primary caretaker in their family. That means the effects of this horrific disease are magnified even further as it disrupts families.

When it comes to women's health, research and funding for Alzheimer's treatments and cures must be a priority. And the first step is making sure the world knows about its importance, especially to the lives of women everywhere.

Join the movement to raise awareness about the devastating effect Alzheimer's has on women everywhere, and the need for more and better research and treatment. Add your name in solidarity today, then share with your friends and family!
