An urgent call to action on behalf of all young women

We're calling for urgent action from governments on behalf of young women suffering the impacts of COVID-19.

Globally 180 million young women are out of work, education or training. That is more than twice as many as young men, a situation that's only going to get worse as countries adapt to the post COVID-19 world.

Young women are losing their jobs and often their only source of income. They face severe mental health challenges, face a deep educational crisis and increased inequalities in a world reeling form the impact of COVID-19.

We're standing together with our partners and every young woman as they struggle to survive.
