This Could Be The Most Repressive Abortion Ban In The Country. Tell Iowa's Governor To Veto The Heartbeat Bill!

The Iowa Legislature just passed the "heartbeat bill" and it is now headed to Governor Kim Reynolds' desk to be signed. The bill says that performing an abortion after a heartbeat is detected would be banned and penalized as a felony. The heartbeat can be detected at six weeks of pregnancy, sometimes even sooner. Most women do not even know they are pregnant at six weeks.

This is just a step in the direction of an all-out abortion ban and could be the most repressive abortion bill in the country. We can't let this happen and set a dangerous precedent.
