Stop Trump from re-opening America's coasts to oil and gas drilling
President Trump has set the Arctic and Atlantic coasts on the path to catastrophe. His recent executive order attempts to reverse existing policy that permanently protects these vital waters from dangerous oil and gas drilling. This will leave our oceans and coasts vulnerable to devastating oil spills while driving climate-wrecking carbon pollution and threatening our clean energy future.

Offshore drilling threatens our oceans, marine wildlife and coastal communities with the risk of catastrophic oil spills. The Interior Department itself estimated a 75% chance of a major oil spill in the Arctic's Chukchi Sea if drilling proceeds. More drilling also sets us back in our fight against climate change and slows America's transition to clean energy.
Passing bills like the Stop Arctic Ocean Drilling Act, the Clean Ocean and Safe Tourism (COAST) Anti-Drilling Act and other legislation is a crucial way to keep Big Oil off our coasts for good. Please support any legislation that further protects our oceans, marine life and coastal residents from reckless oil and gas drilling. Thank you.
